UE has provided engineering support for over two years for one of the nation’s leading ethanol construction companies. The boom in the industry has stretched ethanol plant constructors and designers to their limits.

When Fagen Engineering reached their capacity and the market demanded more, instead of telling good clients no, they enlisted the help of Utility Engineering.

UE was able to provide structural, mechanical, and electrical support for various plants across the country. We work directly with Fagen Engineering, the Owner, and the local utility to provide the necessary based on the scope of our work as assigned by Fagen Engineering.

Past scopes have included structural steel engineering & design, piping engineering & design, electrical distribution, control wiring, grounding, and equipment specification and purchasing. UE is well versed in working with third party vendors to complete the balance of plant design.
