The project required an expansion of the existing electrical system to handle an additional load. The 13.8kV primary distribution system was tapped and cable duct was added to a new power transformer in coordination with the local utility.

Secondary side, outdoor switchgear was added with new foundations along with a new MCC and distribution equipment. Additional tray was routed, and new underground feeders were installed to provide the additional capacity to accommodate the project.

An arc flash study was completed for the entire electrical distribution system. The distribution system was waked down and a model was developed for load flow and arc flash simulations.
