Through a comprehensive agreement with several environmental and
governmental agencies, the owners of Hayden Station agreed to resolve
air quality concerns by installing additional emissions control
equipment on the two units at Hayden Station.
UE was a member of a consortium that provided the engineering,
procurement and construction on a turnkey basis with close customer
interface. UE was responsible for the detailed design and procurement
of the two reverse air fabric filter dust collectors and balance
of plant engineering and procurement.
In addition, UE provided construction management services for the
project and provided the overall project management and controls,
which were complicated because of the three-company consortium and
three owners.
