When UE contracts with a customer to perform work, we become part of the customer’s responsibility to that project’s community. Many of our people live and work at the project site, while others perform their support of a project from one of our four offices. Whether on a project or in the office, our employees participate in many community enriching activities. From Habitat for Humanity to United Way, UE employees jump in to help, in the same way we deliver our services.

As the UE parent company, the Zachry Corporate Contributions Committee targets nonprofit organizations providing programs for children and youth, families, health, education, arts and civic projects, and seniors. Members of the Zachry Volunteer Council touch a diverse group of individuals, families and institutions. From the aroma of the sandwiches made for the Food Bank’s summer program to the expressions of gratitude for the thousands of dollars of school supplies purchased for adopted schools, Zachry and UE are always there, making a difference!
